Calvin PC Receives Grant

The Synod of Alaska-NW joyfully approved the request from Calvin Presbyterian Church for a $15,000 one-time grant for the community college pilot ministry at the June 9-11 Assembly Meeting in Bellevue, WA. The Synod believes it is a pleasant task to help fund ministry such as this and to partner with Calvin PC in this college ministry.

The funding for the grant comes from the Historical Commitments Fund, made up of pledges to support such ministries as higher education. Today, Calvin PC is furthering the goals of those who provided these funds in the past for the historical commitments within the Synod.
