Moving Back into the Neighborhood 2.0

Friday, March 16, 2012
12:30pm - 8:30pm
Saturday, March 17, 2012
8:30am - 3:30pm

Inspired by Jesus’ example of sending the 70 into ministry, Alan Roxburgh and Mark Lau Branson have been ministering, teaching and thinking about this missional turn on the West Coast (Al is from Vancouver B.C. and Mark from Los Angeles). They also highlight how we can encourage sessions, teams, and congregants in this movement without triggering the resistance that change sometimes stimulates.

NPS Presbytery is providing $50 for every NPS Presbyterian who participates. By doing so the cost of the conference is reduced from $100 to $50/person.

Moving Back 2.0
is hosted by Union Church in Seattle, and sponsored by Presbyterian Global Fellowship with support from NPS Presbytery and Seattle Presbytery.

As a result of Moving Back 2.0, sessions might choose to pursue this further with their congregation.  If so, NPS Presbytery has funds from a generous PC(USA) grant to support your pursuit of missional transformation.

In our “neighborhood” (NPS Presbytery), we engage, equip and encourage as you follow Jesus.  This is one avenue where together we can pursue the mission and ministry God has for us.
