Thanks to the generosity of the congregations, the NPS Presbytery is among the top presbyteries in giving to support the mission and ministry of the PC(USA).  Your commitment is greatly appreciated. The money contributed by presbyteries each year provides a visible witness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through mission and ministry across the country and around the world.

The annual “Top Presbyteries” lists are compiled in four categories: total giving, basic mission support, special offerings, and other appeals. Within each category, the lists are drawn up by total giving and by average giving per member. Several presbyteries were honored in more than one category.

In appreciation of your generous support, PC(USA) is preparing a special memento for NPS Presbytery. This will be sent directly to the presbytery after General Assembly, along with the Top Presbyteries report. Ads honoring the top presbyteries in giving will appear in Presbyterians Today and The Presbyterian Outlook. 

In addition, there will be a presentation at the General Assembly on Saturday, July 3, 2010 during the afternoon business session.
